Mission

The Vancouver Area Theatre Alliance (VATA) is an alliance of producing non-profit organizations, formed to foster and promote high quality theatre in the Vancouver area. Its purpose is: to provide services for mutual benefit, to develop and facilitate effective communication with the Alliance and between Alliance members and the community, to serve as a resource center which offers and provides technical support, information, and resource sharing for any and all community members.

The New Blue Parrot is actively seeking new production staff members for our upcoming seasons.
Do you have a degree in Theatre Arts that hasn't been put to good use lately? Are you an actor seeking to cross the line to directing or choreography?
Retired and your spouse wants you to find a new hobby?
Come Join the Fun!
Comprising of a Children's Theatre Company as well as the traditional Adult Company, we have a number of paid staff (don't expect to get rich) as well as volunteer positions to fill.
